In most cases the refurbishment can be achieved without isolation extending the lifespan. Planned maintenance of valves can also reduce costs further by preventing any need for reactive emergency maintenance.

Valve Refurbishment
We have years of experience in valve refurbishment services. Refurbishing a wide range of valves in the UK and overseas.
One of our recent projects was a 900mm clean portable water main which required refurbishing.
Our technical made a confined space entry, stripped and removed the damaged gearing, released and cycled the 900mm butterfly valve and fitted our valve stem locking system.
The gearing was then removed from site, stripped and cleaned for inspection by our engineers. The gearing was refurbished, mechanical reinforced clamps fitted and cast welding completed on the cast casing.
A full rebuild, with new bearing, gaskets and grease done. Full testing and commissioning completed then returned to site.
Our technical team then removed the locking system, fitted the refurbished gearing and cycled and tested the valve with the client. Leaving the asset fully operational with no customer loss or interruptions to service.
